Clean cross-cuts, in paper and other materials
A blade-holder cylinder that cuts across the direction in which the material travels. It works for both cutting and perforating: all it takes is changing the type of blade, which is interchangeable.
Hardened steel cylinder, or stainless steel as an option. The cylinder bearers and the centring bearings are hardened.
CNC engraving guarantees centre-to-centre precision between blades, which is where a clean cut comes from.
Spare blades are always in stock, ready for immediate delivery. The press is never left standing while you wait.
They are made of hardened steel, with different thicknesses and bevel shapes depending on the job. They work well on board, corrugated board, labels, postcards and business cards.
The interrupted edge leaves the material joined by ties, so that it separates later exactly where it should.
A continuous edge to separate the web completely, with a clean edge from side to side.
Edge
Extra hard, so it lasts the run without losing its cut.
Flexibility
It adapts to the cylinder without being forced.
Straightness
Uniform along the whole length of the blade.
Height and width
Consistent from one blade to the next, so they are interchangeable.
CNC engraving keeps the distance between blades, and with it the sheet size.
Two interchangeable blade types to cover different requirements with the same cylinder.
Hardened steel blades and a hardened body: the assembly performs the same, run after run.
Tell us the material, the sheet size and the press, and we will confirm the cylinder and the type of blade.
