Keep your machinery free of waste
An air extraction system that removes the loose cut-out material and sucks it away before it spreads all over the press.
Case 1
When circular shapes are cut out, the air helps separate the waste slug.
Case 2
When shapes inside the label itself have to be removed, it makes sure the waste comes out whole.
No two are the same: it is made according to the available space and what each customer needs. It is integrated right after the die-cutting, with whatever mechanical adaptation is required.
As many nozzles as the job requires are fitted, and they are positioned by hand according to the shape being die-cut.
The extractor is mounted between the press units, right after the die-cutting. The web passes tangent to the upper mouth, where the nozzles blow on the material to lift off the cut-out. Below, the collection mouth is connected to the suction, which carries the waste away through the pipe before it spreads around the press.
Front view
Where the web goes in and where the waste comes out. The unit fits in the gap between two press units, without getting in the material’s way.
The collection
The waste falls into the hopper and the suction carries it away through the pipe, in the direction shown by the arrow.
Assembly drawings from the project · the exact dimensions depend on each press
It goes right after the die-cutting, and works with the rest of the equipment that gets the web ready for finishing.
Tell us what you die-cut, with which material and how much space you have after the station. We will propose the bar and the number of nozzles.
